We chatted to Wullie Henderson at Buildbase who told us about his positive experience working with SAM, and how our product and service have helped the business grow.
1. What was it like before you had SAM primed MDF mouldings?
Before SAM, there was a lack of service from the other manufacturers. When we started to work with SAM, our requested delivery dates were met and we had a lot more confidence in our supplier.
2. What problem(s) were you trying to solve with SAM primed MDF mouldings?
Poor service, product availability, orders not arriving on time and we struggled to compete in the market.
3. Where did you start your search?
I phoned Gerard (Sales Director at SAM) to discuss the issues I was having and asked what SAM could do for us. He was very helpful and provided me with a favourable service proposition.
4. What made SAM stand out from other options?
It was their service package. It was everything I was looking for from a supplier. Customer service isn’t rocket science, but it is amazing how many companies get it wrong.

SAM provides a quality product and a service offering that does exactly what they say. They are reliable and work with you to really address your needs.

6. What makes you happiest about working with SAM?
Working with Craig Buchanan (Regional Sales Manager at SAM). We have good banter (when I can get a word in! J ) and he goes out of his way to help. The team in the office are really helpful too. There is a great vibe about SAM.
7. What have you been able to achieve since using SAM products?
We were able to grow our sales and manage our stocks better. As deliveries were made on time, we were able to lower our stock at the branch.
8. What has exceeded your expectations since working with SAM?
SAM did what they said they were going to do. They managed to meet their service proposition consistently when others failed.
9. What’s the main reason you recommend SAM?
Their quality and service package. I haven’t found another supplier that compares.
